Drs. Andrew Glenn and Michael Stern are specialists in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Glenn was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska where he attended the University of Nebraska and received his DDS in 1999. He then completed a six year residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he received an MD in 2003 and completed his general surgery internship at Truman Medical Center in 2004 Dr. Glenn has been trained in a wide variety of contemporary oral and maxillofacial procedures, including sedation and general anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants and bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, and management of facial trauma. He is involved in numerous professional local, state, as well as national dental and medical societies. He works part time in the Surgical Specialties department at University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry, and regularly attends scientific and educational meetings in his field.
Dr. Stern trained at The Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received his certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. In addition, he obtained a Ph.D. in oral biology and has a keen understanding of oral wound healing. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Drs. Glenn and Stern have expertise in wisdom tooth removal, dental implant surgery, bone grafting and oral pathology (cysts and tumors of the jaws and mouth).He is also experienced in the management of facial trauma.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
